The responsibilities of the line cook may include the following: 

  • Cook food for the following stations: starters, stir-fries, serving plates and grilling. • Prepare all foods, including sauces, salads, garnishes, entrees, proteins and starches. • Arrange the plates for all of the following sections: salads, starters, sides, main courses  and desserts. 
  • Communicate positively and demonstrate leadership and team spirit in a high stress  environment. 
  • Organize, store and maintain the cleanliness of all cooking areas in the line. • Follow current procedures and standards for cooking using fryers, ovens, sauté pans and  grills.
